Sheathing / Siding

Rodents will love the spaces between the walls and the exterior panels! We had rats move in one year, killed three nice pullets, ate eggs, and had no problem chewing through the OSB overnight.
Better to spend on predator proofing the perimeter, and having good ventilation.
Our nest boxes are about 24" above the floor, room enough for the birds to use the floor space, and below all the roosts. We don't have Silkies, so no ramp either. Hens fly up to a sapling set about 10" in front of the boxes, so it's convenient for each to pick the box of her choice.
Build it, see how it all works, and be ready to modify things as time passes.

Good advice! I think I’ll go a year without internal walls, and use puckboard in behind the roosts. See how it works and adjust from there.
