Howdy all! (I know it's been a while, but I'm back
)
I have participated in, and done quite well in, chicken 4-H for the last eight years, and I have been considering branching out and doing sheep 4-H as well. Just one problem though: I know nothing about sheep! I need information about keeping and caring for sheep. I live in Idaho, so the climate is freezing winters and springs and hot summers. We would be getting the lambs in March -ish, and selling them at the fair in August. Has anyone here done sheep 4-H before? How much do lambs usually go for in county fairs?
Thank you all in advance!
