One of my older girls has laid a shell-less egg under the roost.

I think I've narrowed it down to two potential girls, who have messy bottoms, but are otherwise acting and looking good. One of them had a short spell of tail dropping and crouching, a few days ago. But it resolved in short order (less than a day).

The girls are on Kalmback non-gmo 17% and have oyster shell on the side. I'm currently giving probiotics in their water, to combat watery stools. I gave them a round of Corid, a couple weeks ago, thinking the loose stools might be Coccidiosis. It did not resolve the problem, but the probiotic is helping.

There was some disturbance in the neighborhood, yesterday, with tree-trimming men, working nearby. I imagine the girls were uncomfortable with that. I also spilled about a cup of chicken scratch in their run, which was a LOT more than I would ever treat my small flock of 8. I should have scooped it back up.

I gave the 2 potential girls a calcium citrate + D tablet, after I found the shell-less egg. Should I do anything more?

Maybe allow them free choice of it. Sometimes their not always getting enough from the food alone. So when those things are noticed it is recommended they have free access to the shell.

Hopefully the shell-less eggs will improve with daily calcium plus d3 for a week. Stress can cause a number of egg shell problems. Mine would freak out when I did my big coop clean outs. Good luck.

Oh, I just did that, too.
Thank you! I'll keep up with the supplements for a week
