Some of my hens got into some chick starter a couple days and then laid 2 shell less eggs yesterday. I had moved some chicks into a small chicken coop that I have and blocked the door but left a gap at the top for air movement. I caught a couple hens in there when I went out to check them and I guess they were getting in there to eat the feed. dont know why cause they have their own feeder.
