Hatch began yesterday, this morning I found one I’d seen pipping last night; did a jailbreak for it, let it dry…. early this afternoon I transferred them all (or so I thought) to the brooder. After, as I sifted through eggs and shells, found another one stuck but still moving, shell half zipped. By my actions, he was 'shrink wrapped' in and cold when I peeled enough that only his butt was still stuck in shell. short version: he got out and recovered back in the incubator. But he’s covered in dried egg schmutz, like shellac. (he still looks as wet as newly hatched,) it’s not letting his feathers fluff out, so removing him seems unwise, but washing him doesn’t seem feasible… I got no idea what to do about him.
