Chirping
Hi all!
My flock contains: 2 silkies - approximately 7-8 months old
plymouth barred & sussex coronation around approximately 25 weeks. Isa brown is about 22 weeks.
I currently feeding them grower chicken feed with grit in a separate bowl. I have read to only start feeding them layer pellets once the entire flock has started laying.
So my plymouth barred is not laying nor does she crouch down when you are near. she a shy bird.
Isa and Sussex 2-3 weeks start first egg
My isa brown has laid 2 shellless eggs in the last week.
I've just caught my sussex looking dazed at 6:30pm at night, then walked whilst passing a shellless egg.
Any advice on whats happening here? Should i just go straight to layer pellets?
