Shhh, there sleeping

I set 33 eggs, 4 were not fertile, 2 did not form completely. I have 22 babies so far. One died hatching

I have 4 more to hatch. I think that's around a 75% hatch rate. My best so far.

All the babies are from my mutt chickens. Did I mention how so darn cute they are.

I'm up to 23 fuzzy butts now, three more to go. I'm in fla. and temp. outside now is nice, just chilly at night. I wasn't sure if they were going to be warm enough, but since they are quiet and content, the brooder must be just right. I'm amazed at the colors they are. Last hatch was mostly white spotted.
