SHINY / METALIC THINGS?

My chickens were pecking on the zipper of my coat when I sat in the coop with them. Is there something anyone uses for such entertainment?

You can put in mirrors, ladders, hanging veggies like cabbage and greens, my birds love old towels thrown on the ground to scratch on them. As long as it is not something dangerous, chickens do like to play!

The like anything shiny...like your eyes, so keep them away from your face...
....and avoid anything small enough for them to swallow.

Lots of thing for them to climb/perch on, go under or behind will make their environment more varied and interesting.
I put down pieces of plywood(~12x12") on the ground, then flip them over every few days for the critters that gather underneath.

Thank you. They peck at the zipper of my coat and my wedding band. I screwed 2 cd to the wall and they are pecking away at them. I also added a 2x2 board and they are perching on it too.
