Shipped Egg Question

I've been looking all over, and been conflicting information. (This will be my first hatch ever.) I have detached air cells, I set the eggs yesterday. I have the Brinsea ovation 28 ex, so automatic everything. I have the eggs set on their pointy ends in the turners, turners are off. So, the question is, when it's time to start turning, do I use the turners or not? And on lock down, do I lay them on their sides still? Maybe slightly elevated? In cardboard boxes?

So confused.

What kind of eggs are they? Chicken, duck, goose etc?
How many eggs do you have?

I'd use the turners after a couple days and low humidity so you don't add to the watery air cells. Somewhere around 25-30% humidity.

Whoops, dropped the ball, didn't I? They are Ayam Cemani and Deathlayer chicken eggs. There's a total of 18 eggs in there right now.
