SHIPPED Hatching Eggs- Do you think I got scammed?

I just received my package today of 18 shipped silkie eggs and when I picked the package up I was very concerned that she didn't state what was in the box, so that the post office doesn't X-ray the eggs!!!
The sender told me she doesn't mark them because of the mishandling the postal service does to egg packages. " Okay I understand.
--- My problem is that for her not disclosing on the package that it's live embryos and do not X-ray the eggs, what she sent me are NOT hatching eggs as our agreement and payment was for! Also knowing it wasn't labeled correctly she their for sent me regular eggs!! Because of how sucure the postal service is about security now a days

I'm looking for input on what I should do. In my eyes it's a no brainier! But in her eyes she thinks she did me a favor. I also asked if she had any success story's of hatching eggs on Facebook because thats where i found her and her post to order hatching eggs. I asked her for success story's of her sending hatching eggs through the mail without marking the box's and she said she doesn't have any for me to see proof!!!
I FEEL LIKE I GOT SCAMMED, DID I GET SCAMMED?
Also, if you ordered fertile eggs, pretty sure she sent fertil eggs..set them! Good luck with your hatch!!

I recently ordered a dozen Sumatra eggs. After 10 days in the incubator 8 out of the 12 were infertile. and 3 of the 4 fertile eggs died. I contacted the breeder who said I was the only one who has had that low of a fertility rate, however I noticed on his feedback that another buyer only had 1 out of 12 eggs fertile. He has offered to sell me another dozen at a reduced price, but I don't want to put any more money into eggs that don't even have a chance. Now I'm looking for a breeder that sells eggs closer to me.

I have a seller I've bought from more than once on the Facebook rare breed page. They don't mark the box as eggs because they feel the box fairs better without drawing attention to it. I have to agree. I just got my box of silkie eggs, all intact and in the incubator. The last eggs I got from her ALL developed. Not all made it to lockdown, but I was super impressed with fertility. Not the only breeder I buy from that doesn't mark either.

I've shipped about a thousand packages through eBay but I no longer am through I have a Facebook page now and out of all those packages I've only had two damaged in the five years that I have been shipping my name is Camp farms on Facebook and I label the Box on every single side fragile eggs and on the bottom on the top the post office will not insure them unless it says live embryos on the top of the Box near the label I then put on their live embryos actual eggs do not throw do not stack fragile and then I also make a note stating dear postal employee if any damage at all to the Box you must Mark and scan and label damaged I work for the Post office and I'm telling you she should have marked it all over the place that they were actual eggs because now even if you were to file a claim for your priority $50 or $100 whatever it was they will not cover it because there was no label of Life embryos on the box and I'm sorry but it seems like they need to be a little bit more educated regarding the postal service and how they work I'm sorry that you had to have that experience I recently bought some quail eggs and they all they did was put them in a egg carton with some toilet paper and a bunch o. Broken dozens and we'll see if they hatch I've still got a week so I'm sorry that you you had to experience out there are good shippers out there and there are good people out there you just hard to find them
