Hi All,
I need some suggestions or advice. I'm desperately trying to get my duckling who was born with curled and turned in feet 3 weeks ago to a duck rescue and sanctuary in Michigan (I'm in NYC). I wanted to ship my little one through Delta cargo but they've told me that he must be 8 weeks old. We are trying to get him there as soon as possible due to the condition of it's feet, in order to get him the help he needs (He is however independently eating and moving around). Now that they told me about the age requirement, I'm nervous about continuing to pursue sending him through an airplane. A friend suggested asking to sign a waiver and that also makes me very nervous. Any thoughts?
PS. I've been looking for a home for my duckling for a week and this is the one place that made me feel comfortable. Most places will take him and then put him up for adoption. They will give him the care he needs and keep him.
