i have a lot of birds laying and selling day old birds at local sale . Just wondering what is the best way to ship them ? Any help is much aprechated and yes my spelling sucks

It's probably best to not ship them, if you can avoid it. They need food and water a lot sooner than other chicks do. If you must ship them, there is a type of gel you can buy to put in with them. I don't remember the name of it, but it supplies water and vitamins to them during shipment. Most of us that do ship them wait until they are a few weeks old.

THE BEST WAY IS TO NOT SHIP THEM AT ALL. THEY ARE QUITE FRAIL AS BABIES AND THE LOSS RATES YOU'LL EXPERIENCE IS APPAULLING AT BEST.

Before i got my quail up and going i bought day old birds all them time and had them shiped never had a problem with it then .
