shipping my chickens international

I have family in Nicaragua and would like to send a few of my hens and roosters to my sister-in-law. Can anyone tell me where to go and what the process is

Shipping live animals internationally. I shudder. Start with US Department of Agriculture and US Customs. Maybe US Postal Service.

Check with customs officials in both countries before you try to ship them, I think you'll find it waaaaaaayyyy more trouble than what its worth.
