Shipping Question

Sure thing. First, get NPIP certified (have your state Dept. of Ag come and test all your adult birds for P/T & AI. Then you will apply for a hatchery permit. Your state may require you to use VS 9-3 forms (certificate of sales) each time you sell eggs or birds. I have to do it. Then you can order shipping boxes from Melonsnmore on Eggbid or Cutler's Supply in MI. Then when you are ready to ship chicks, just put some watermelon or cantaloupe in the box with them, tape up the box, and go to your p.o. and send them on their way. Your p.o. can give you the Express Mail shipping labels. I use a baby scale to weigh my birds in the box before I ship so I know what to charge for shipping. My p.o. also gave me a zone chart and shipping rate charts for Express Mail (birds) and Priority Mail (eggs). Hope this answered your question.
