TODAY I TRIMED THE SPURS ON MY 7 YEAR OLD ROOSTER AND WHEN I WAS DONE I THOUGHT HE WAS GOING TO DIE. HE JUST LAYED LIMP AMD WOULD NOT MOVE AFTER ABOUT 5 MIN HE WAS BACK UP AND WAS NORMAL. WHAT WAS WRONG?

POOR GUY , HE HAS BEEN WITH ME SINCE HE BROKE OUT OF HIS SHELL
 
He was probably playing dead, a natural response to being captured or subdued by the dominant roo, i.e., you. Takes em a couple minutes to come out of it sometimes. When I had two roos and the alpha would chase the subordinate, the sub would lay down and play dead until the alpha lost interest.
