Health Care. Who among us can argue against some sort of health care reform. I dont know if a single payer concept is a good idea. I do know that medical is just way out of hand. Medicare and that other one paid for by govt funds are both turning out to have problems. Maybe the govt shoudl repair those and show that they can run those first before they want to run everybodies. President Obama is right about needing to change the way things work right now. Maybe we do need to streamline some procedures. This is one area that the private sector has failed alot of us. Still, I am just not comfortable with a total govt takeover of the medical system. Something about them owning my medical records bother me profoundly. I am fiscaly conservative and generaly socialy (sp?) conservative but I do have some liberal ideas as well. While I most certainly do not agree with certain lifestyles I can not think that my lifestyle should have preference. Lord knows I've caused enough trouble myself. More that most really.
