Shots for new chicks

Hello:

When you get 3-5 day old chicks from a feed store, do you have to get them shots? Would medicated starter food do the same thing?

Hi. I posted earlier today the same question. See post from Tovah. I have been checking your post too to see if people have responded. I have one response where they said you don't need to, but if you mix chicks with vaccination and chicks wiithout you might get the non-vaccinated chicks sick.

I'm curious as well..mine don't have shots and use the medicated feed.
