I recieved my first ever guinea eggs 25 days ago. I can not wait to see them hatch. I just wanted to share with you all. Will post pics when they hatch. Yahoo.
That's great! I have 12 in the bator and 4 showed large dark areas and movement this morning. One was questionable. The others look suspiciously clear but I'm leaving them in because they aren't smelly or weeping. I hope that's not a mistake! Day 28 is May 11th. This is my first hatch so I'm super excited!

With only around 8 days to go before hatching, the dark areas with movement are definitely live developing keets, congrats! I'd go ahead and pull out the clears tho, mainly because if something bacterial caused them to die during early development you don't want that possibly creeping over to the keets that you know are alive. If you pull them out, just as a precaution wash your hands before you touch/handle the other eggs. I never leave the clears or the eggs with blood rings in the incubator past day 14.
