How many of you at BYC Vacc. their chicks. and do the chickens that have been vaccinated have chicks that are resistant to it ?
It's a newbie question.
Can you do it yourself?

Vaccination is well worth the small cost. Just make sure that the chicks are properly quarantined for at least 10 days after the vaccination. No, the chicks of vaccinated parents will not have a natural immunity to Marek's. They will need their own vaccination.

Doesn't matter, Depends on where you live and the size of your flock but most people do (I did).
