Should eggs at Day 21 under a Broody be liquidy?

Stitch got off the nest today (with babies in tow) long enough to let Ivory on to lay her eggs. I picked up one of the eggs that was due today, but it seemed to have a lot of liquid in it. Did it go bad? (I think I had 2 quitters, but not sure)

in my experience liquid means bad egg.. careful with disposal!

Sounds bad, my bet would definitely be that it was a quitter . . . but I would candle just in case. The last thing you want to do is crack it open and find a nearly fully developed chick struggling to survive.
