I probably should have thought of this earlier... right off the bat my very first egg layer went broody. My 6 month old serama laid 14 eggs and the first one hatched this evening... right on schedule. Will the roosters and other hens be a threat to the new kids? My husband just brought this up tonight.. wondering if I need to seperate her and her chicks and eggs from the rest of the bunch? I have 2 serama roosters, 1 silkie roo and 1 frizzle roo and 9 serama, silkie and bantam hens.
