Should I add a nest box or perch?

I have a 10-11 week old ameraucana hen and an unknown breed chick that is about 4-5 weeks. Should I add a perch their coop right now or wait until later? Right now the little chick hides under the amer. when they sleep at night...What about a nest box? I don't know when they start laying, I'm pretty new to this. Any ideas?

Add a Roost (perch) mine started roosting at about two weeks old.

Nest box can wait till around 20 weeks old.

Hi,
I would put a perch in, they won't lay eggs till about 20+ weeks old.
They are sweet!

Okay Thank You! I just didn't know if the bigger hen would leave the little one on the ground at night. But I'll put a roost in and see if they still sleep together!
