Should I be concerned with worming.

I have a pile of chickens (all 14) that have decided cow pies are the greatest new buffet. They will take a plate size pie, and scatter it into a 10-12’ diameter dirty spot before they decide all of the goodies are done. Then they race to the next one.
My cattle are wormed each year. Should I be concerned about working the chickens??

Generally no. Worms are host specific. There is not a chicken in this world who can't resist a fresh pile of poop. Deworm them when they molt if they start looking poor.

They definitely make it a sport. They stayed on one corner of my 5 acres...... until they discovered cow pies.

If the cattle are wormed, there should be no worms in the cow pies, right?
But there might be cattle wormer in the chickens?
The chickens will eat any maggots that might be in the pies.
