Should I be concerned?

Here is a pic of my Ameraucana egg who does a lot of foraging and usually lays brighter, orange yolks... and then, a pic of my production red. While she normally lays lighter yolks, this is not common. Her shells have been thinner lately too. Not long ago she had a limp and I figured it was nothing but maybe a sprain, now she is walking fine but these yolks... I'm just a little concerned. There has been an addition to the flock about a month ago as well. So, maybe a little stress. But other than the limp and the addition she seems fine. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks.
P.S. We have our first chick hatched two days ago. Fun stuff. :D

Do you have oak trees where they forage?

Ingesting a lot of acorns can cause greenish egg yolks. :)

No oak trees in my yard or neighbors... But that's good to know. I'm planting one soon that I've grown in a pot. As for the nutrition and sickness, that's what I've heard but she is the only hen having this issue right now. I've done a natural hash recipe I got from a friend for worming about a month ago... I'll try that again and see if it helps. Thanks!

"Natural" wormers are NOT wormers. There is no substitute for chemical wormers when it comes to getting rid of parasites. ACV, pumpkin seeds, and black walnut extract are NOT effective treatments.

I'd grab some Valbazen liquid goat wormer. One dose gets every single worm known to chicken-kind. It's a 1/2cc for standard birds, 1/4cc for bantams given orally via syringe without a needle. Repeat in ten days. Treat all chickens in your flock at the same time.

Something inside your mama is sucking up her nutrition from her, causing these white yolks. You've got to take care of it for her.

I don't mean to come off sounding harsh, but I assure you that a "natural hash" will not kill internal parasites, if that's what is causing this. And I also understand the importance of wanting your birds to have no medications, antibiotics, and the like. I feed my girls the best feed and will hardly ever even take Advil myself! I go on crusades against Big Pharma and the harm they have done to the people in this country. My own birds are no exception..... BUT! When it comes to worms, you cannot mess around.

Get the good stuff and get your girl healthy again. :)
