Should I be scared?

So my chicks and 6 days old today and so they just started getting their tail feathers yesterday, all but two of them. They have some wing feathers, but not as many as the others. Is this okay? Should I prepare myself to loose those two? Or is staggered growth normal? They're all hens (we think) and they're EE's and SS

chicks develop at different times. if they don't have tail feathers in 3 more days, then either they're boys, or you should worry.

WAIT!!! So if they DON'T get tail feathers it means they're a boy?????? Yay!! Because one of the pullets was acting protective and is the biggest and has the most feathers so we were all afraid she was going to be a he!!
