Should I clip his wings?

I know, I know. He'll be super upset and it's a horrid idea in case of a predator attack. However, Mr. Man has decided he's the baddest cock in the hood and torments my dogs (who are fenced). Well he must have actually flown in at them at one point as he's now missing 1/3 of his tail and I found all the feathers in the dog run. What to do..what to do... I have a weim that's 10 so not much hope of converting that one into a bird safe dog.

Please don't clip his wings!
Flying is his only way of protecting himself!

Unless your dog fence is extremely tall, even with his wings clipped he will be able to jump/flap over it. Only he'll have a harder time getting away unscathed. So clipping won't help your problem anyways...

I would be putting a top on the dog pen before i lost a bird to the dogs, he sure is a foolish one.

Dog pen is a full acre. Plus I'm trying to call it the "yard" now that we have kids that have toys in there. I like keeping my kids fenced just as much as the dogs. lol

Probably be cheaper to pen him up. I hate to do it. I love having him greet me at the car in the morning. But he might be a bit suicidal. Think he learned his lesson???

i got over 40 free rangers here and i can tell you not one would harass a dog and all of them were raised together,.
So just what does he do to the dogs?

He sits on the fence. Sometimes he flies in and sits on the playground equipment. Hell I've seen him come up to the window and peacock in front of them while they're slobbering on the window in rage. Seriously, this peacock is on steroids or something. He really thinks he's the man!

First time he does this to the wrong critter they will eat him, peas are Territorial and they do try to intimidate trespasses but they know their limits and fly straight back home at the slightest hint of what they deem dangerous.
