Should I cook my Edible Pea Pods from my garden..

...or just throw them the discards.

I'm just loving trying different foods on my babies, but I worry about what may be harmful to my chickens.

I'm aware of Apple Seeds, and all Citrus, but is there any vegie or fruit or weed or flower that may be harmful to them?

Good question! They can pretty much eat what you eat, except do skip desserts and very salty foods. Of course if they are young you will want to give them small pieces.

Given freedom of choice, the chickens should eat only what they should. There are some things they won't eat, citrus being one of them. They don't seem to like herbs. We have sage and rosemary. They stay away from them. They eat the fallen apples off of the ground, but I don't recall seeing them eat the seeds.
