Hello guys,
I have my chicken since two days!
I have this kind of enclosure :

But during the morning, the chickens stays inside the chicken coop, despite it's sunny ... I think it's because of the wind, but I'm not sure, notice that nothing is cutting the wind in my aviary.
During afternoons, they finally go outside the chicken coop, and there is also less wind.

So should I add protections like breeze view on the side of the aviary or is it normal that the chickens stays inside the chicken coop during morning ?

Thanks !

I live in South of France, temperature is like 8-12°C in the morning and 18-25°C in afternoon, during winter. But the wind the morning is pretty strong

Ok so they are most of them out ! There's only one in the chicken coop.
But the 5 other are sleeping outside, some of them put their head in their wings. Is it normal ? I give them food before

Ha! First they wouldn't' come out, now they won't go back in at night to sleep?
Post pics of your coop, inside and out.

Many birds sleep with their head tucked behind their wing.
They should have feed available every hour they are awake.

Oh no I mean they sleep during the morning ! I haven't block 100% the side of the aviary, but I'll do it tomorrow and see what happens
