Should I give up

Well added 1 inch wire over the 2 inch wire and moved the coop a bit closer to the house. I figure that should help. After looking it over they have been pulling on the wire pretty steady. I tightened the 2 inch wire up and Then put the 1 inch wire over it. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens I'm trying to get a live trap as we speak to catch the lil booger.
Relocation will not be an option

Well no luck with a trap I'll construct my own tomorrow. Did all that work and the Roo and 4 Big Hens went up to the tree by the road with the big light. The 4 Pullets went to the coop/run I didn't have secured lol So I was out moving pullets into the re wired coop.

they cant go thru chain link. I have coons and fox and hawks oh my! but nothing has been able to get thru the chain link dog kennel I have them in at night,, for diggers its easy enough to go to the store and by a piece for the floor and attach it.. so even the diggers cant get in.. do you know anyone with a old dog kennel that is cheap or will give away.. same thing for the top a piece of chain link will keep them out.. then I have a tarp that goes over the top and 1/3 down the north side for sun and rain protection,

good luck
