Should I help he’s almost there!

I have this duckling that I think has been piped since 24-48 hours don’t know for sure but he is almost fully hatched should I help? I helped a tiny bit but I still think he needs more! He seems to want out a lot

Can you post a pic? Is this from the same batch as your other thread?

If he still looks like he is 'yawning and chewing' then he's still absorbing the remains of the yolk. Can you see him doing that?

I’ll leave him in there over night then I can try and see if he needs help tommorow! Does that sound good or do I still wait a little longer?

As long as he is doing that chewing action leave him be. He'll start to rotate once he's ready to hatch. Ducks take forever to hatch - they sure try your patience.

JaeG made some really good points. I just want to ask, what is your humidity at? That duckling's membrane looks really dry.

Just when to look at how he was doing and he has a wing out and trying to get out but he still I chewing so do I leave him like that for the night?
