*****Should I help this chick hatch?/Malpositioned :/ First time hatcher******

So my first hatch has gone wonderful, but the last one has me worried (of course). I can still see the little beak poke out and it's been less then 24 hours since it pipped. I didn't see it pip so unsure when exactly, but the first one was about 24 hours ago and it hadn't pipped then. I'm just concerned with how dry the membrane looks :/ Thank you for your help!

im no expert, i was told on my last hatch to keep humidity up, wet sponge with warm water, i think you can carefully wet the membrane with a q-tip, dont drown the chick, how many hours? hope better help arrives, good luck

Unfortunately I don't know the humidity, it's high though because I do have condensation on the side. A hygrometer is in my Amazon cart for next time I did wet the edges with a damp q-tip. I just don't want to force it out to quickly or dry it out more messing with it. How quickly can a membrane dry out? It's not to dry here but we do have the air conditioning on today. I will try the wet sponge when take out the other two chicks (they need to fluff up a bit more).

I felt I had to assist cause they weren't doing anything.

Would that prevent them from continuing to hatch?

How did it go? The chick still hasn't hatched and the hole is no bigger. :/

I peeled back about almost half way being cautious of not ripping the dark blood vessels. When it's head poked out I just put it in the Bator and he came out on his own.
He looked good! A little goo and I had to cut off but it's doing well. As long as it's not bleeding you should be ok!

So I candled the egg and the chick has pipped the wrong end. I can clearly see the air sack on the other end. I started to help it zip and saw some blood so stopped right away and put the chick back. It is still chirping in there, I just don't want to pick and cause it to bleed. I read that if there was blood then the yolk wasn't absorbed yet.

I don't want to make the wrong move and hurt the chick.
