Should I intervine?

I did a float test on the nine eggs my hen is sitting on. I was thinking they are all bad or aren't actually fertilized. When I did the float test I think the results was 8 viable but, I didn't see movement. They are on day 23. I saw on here survival rate of birds that stay in the egg after 25 days is not good.

So should I intervine if so when?

Someone please help, I don't want them to die from being left in the egg to long.

I had one hatch yesterday 5 days after lock down, 1 hatched today, 6 days after. I'm keeping three others for another couple days. Just in case.

Do not intervene.

I know it seems cruel, but the chicks may not be

ready, and if you bust them out, it could kill them. There could be some wild

reason why they cannot break out, ~Deformed, etc~ And if you bust them

out, it's a possiblilty you may have to cull them. Candle them, and see whats

going on inside (If they are actually fertile, etc).

If you intervene the chicks have a poor chance for survival any how. Just wait it out; and then start over if you have to...Terri O
