I really want a black frizzle hen...but mypetchicken is out of them. And I need a hen, my landlord has made it apperently clear that a rooster is NOT acceptable. However, I really want to raise chicks so that there friendly with people and such. So, I was thinking about ordering a white silkie hen and a japenese hen, both bantam, and then getting an older frizzle hen from a chicken show in october...should I just do that, or should I wait until mypetchicken gets them in (which may not be until next spring...=[) and order them all at once? Also, I know mypetchicken only does a minimum of 5 bantams, I put an ad on CL saying I need someone to go in on the deal with me.
