Should I keep my boys?

Well we took our chances this spring and picked a couple of chicks out of the hatch run bins at the feed store and both turned out to be little men. One is a Polish and the other is an Old English Game bantam. They're both hilarious and I'm not really wanting to get rid of them but they're the first roosters that we've had. Is there a good reason to keep them? Our chickens have a large run and only free range in the fall and winter (when I let them have free range of my garden) so I'm not really concerned about predator protection and we don't want to raise baby chickens. Should I try to re-home (can you re-home chickens?) or should I keep them?

Roosters are tricky, some work out great, and a lot of them are nightmares. You have already said no to the two main reasons to have roosters. So you can meet your flock goals without them.

In my opinion, you can keep them, but keep a sharp knife also. If they don't work out, cull them. Be constantly aware of them when you are around them.
