My daughter is going to fertilize, lime and reseed the pasture. Her question is, should she keep the chickens off the pasture for a few days. She's afraid they'll eat something they shouldn't. I say if it rains after she puts everything down, it should be alright. Second question: Little Bit, my only child chick, will be 4 weeks old when I take the new (2 week old) chicks home. Will they be alright together? I feel so sorry for Little Bit, as all she knows is the chick in the mirror (herself). I want her to have other chicks for company. Anyone????
