I'm driving to go pick up some hatching eggs this saturday, the drive is only 3 hours away so 6 hours total driving should I let the eggs rest a day or can I put them in my incubator. The lady I'm buying the eggs from said they will be picked fresh and she keeps them on an egg turner until they are ready to be picked up or mailed out. I know the eggs will be fine when I'm driving I stay away from pot holes and don't take my turns very hard. Just thought I would ask before putting in the incubator

If your car uses gas there will be a lot of vibration even if you do not feel it. Remember there is liquid in eggs and vibration is worse on liquid. Let them rest for best hatching rates.

Okay, please please don't take this in a bad way, I just got tickled by your use of the phrase "picked fresh"

Put me in mind of all the folks who seem to wish they had an egg bush or tree instead of a living animal to get eggs from. Again, please don't be offended, you gave me a good giggle!
