Should I let young Silkie hatch eggs?

My Silkie is 29 weeks old, started laying a few weeks ago.
She has gone broody but she’s still fairly small compared to my other chickens. Would it be a good idea as she is so young? She’s been broody for around 2 days now sitting on infertile eggs, I’ve been offered 6 Orprington eggs, would she be able to cover these?
My other worry is she’s quite low in the pecking order, and I’m worried she’d get bullied off her nest as she’s not an aggressive broody, and she’s sitting in the ‘favourite nest box’, I tried moving her to her own box which is more private but she kept going back.

I think you know the answer to your question and wishful thinking is leading you to post in search of an affirmative.
She is too young. There will be problems for her, for the chicks, and for other flock members if you let her sit, especially in the favoured nest box. You need to break her broodiness as soon as possible. She will go broody again, and when she gets to about a year old she should be able to manage it OK.

No I didn’t know the answer to the question as I haven’t been chicken keeping for long, I’ve just heard people mention that age can be an issue and was hoping for a second opinion on whether that’s true or not. I’m not too bothered if I have to break her or not, although I wouldn’t mind having some new additions to my flock.
I thought perhaps moving her to her own little coop away from the flock may have been an option but wasn’t sure if that would make a difference of not.
