My girls range from 5 to about 7 weeks old. They will go into their coop when it gets dark, but it's cold outside today-- in the 50's. It's windy & overcast & they are huddled in a pile in their outside run. Should I pick them up and put them in the coop where there's a light & it's warmer, or do you think they will go in there themselves if they get too cold? They have almost all of their feathers-- just a little fluff peeking out here & there.

You would think they know whats best but I would still put them inside the coop.

Now they're walking around & scratching & pecking like normal-- I guess they're fine. Those feathers must keep 'em warm!

They can regulate themselves. They would let you know quite quickly if they were uncomfortable.
