So, my favorite pullet passed 2 months ago, and my mom said maybe I could get a chick ordered, but should I, I don't want to get heartbroken again. So would it be a good idea to order one?

My pullet Daffodil was found dead, cold and stiff, I don't know whether I could stand one to die. I am very anxious, so I would freak out if a chick got hurt or sick.

Could I put it with my hens, to help take care of her, or not? Also what would I need to buy, and how much attention would she need?

Some more information is probably needed. How many hens do you have? How much space? You have to order more than one chick, as chickens are flock animals and need company to live properly. Having at least 3 chicks will help with integration. Do you brood in coop or out? How old are your other hens?
