Should I play a joke on my Buff?

My Buff Orp just went broody. She is sitting on 2 eggs right now in
one of the nesting boxes.

Here's what I was thinking:
We just hatched some Buffs in the bator. What if I took one
of the chicks and put it under her. Think she would it out?

First a question, How long has your BO been setting on her 2 eggs?...that would probably mean you lose the two eggs you have under her...and Second...she may not take the chick if she is just early in setting on a clutch....she may want to set the whole 21 days .......

She's been in there for 2 or 3 days now. She has come out for a bit but then right
back in.

You took my "Purple being a typical dumbass" question and actually made me think
about it. It wasn't my intention to have her raise the chick and if I did that I may
have lost the eggs. I was more curious to see what she would do.

Chickies are staying in the brooder and Buffy is staying in her box.
