Should i put Turkeys or Chickens in orchard?

Hey everyone--I need some advice. I am going to fence in my orchard area and put in either chicks (broilers) or turkeys. Which would be the best at not ripping apart my fruit trees? Someone told me turkeys are less destructive but i am not sure.

I've seen farmers let their chickens into orchards a lot and never heard that they destroyed anything... are your trees small? Even then my chooks don't bother trees in my yard so I don't know what they would hurt, especially in a place that probably has lots of bugs and yummy stuff to browse on right on the ground.

The trees aren't tiny--the smallest is about 6 feet tall. But the lower branches are only a foot off the ground.
