Thanks Mrs. K. I also think he is very pretty. I don't think he is too young, - he's a year and 2 months, but this is my first batch of chickens, so I wouldn't really know!
In some ways, it seems that if I were going to replace him, it would almost be better to wait and get a purebred bird of some sort. I'd love to have a Brahma rooster, or maybe a pure Ameraucana. I wasn't planning on doing any hatching next spring, but maybe someone will twist my arm!
