should I seperate my oegb or mgb

when I get my oegb and mgb Im gonna seperate the 2 breeds but each breed I want to get different colors but when I have different colors of the same breed in one pen and I hatch the chicks will the chicks be like half one color and half other because I dont want a differnt color.

In order to get birds that breed true it is necessary to separaate by breed and then by variety within the breed.
