Should I use DE for silkies

wondering if I should put DE anywhere for my silkies since they are more prone to mites etc, and how much, thx!

Some folks use DE in dust bathing areas, but if they have loose dirt for dust bathing then this should be sufficient.
I would check the birds frequently for lice/mites so you catch problems early.
