Should I worry about squirrels!!

Well this is why I am interested in this.......

I have my two sex links (about6-7 wks old) in a brooder up against the back of my house under a lean to. This is where DH and I sit and relax and where the dogs stay alot of the time. I let my pullets free range when I am home and they stay right in this area.

When the chicks are out I will walk out of the back door to sometime see a squirrel running away!

My dogs are a Pit Bull 115lb. and a boxer 90lbs.! So the squirrels normally stay out of the dogs wireless fence area. But something about the chick have them coming right up the where the dogs sleep???? Crazy squirrels!

Should I be worried about this?

Other than stealing all the chick feed, possibly stealing eggs, and brining in pests, that's about it.

My dog Freddie hates squirrels. He will jump out the door and nearly half up the trunk to get one. Silly dog sure doesnt mind all the wild rabbits in the yard. The two doxies like to tree a squirrel too. The stupid squirrel stays just out of their reach and chatters at them. They will bark non-stop until I physically bring them in. One day, they might get lucky
