Should the eggs be close or spaced apaart when taken out of turner and placed back into incubator?

It won't much matter, because when they start hatching, they'll bowl the other eggs all over the place, LOL. I do place them about an inch or two apart, depending on how many eggs are in there and how much room I have, but the first chick that hatches ruins my setup entirely!

Your right speckledhen,
This morning my 7th baby hatched and I have had fun watching the bowling going on.

leecey411, They don't all hatch at once. My 7 hatched 1 at a time. Once they get out of the eggs. They still have a umbilical card thingy still attached to the egg, so they start jumping around and rolling. By rolling they twist it off.

In the process, they bowl the other eggs all over the place. It really funny.

So spacing is not really an issue.

Hi all,
I noticed that after I prevented the eggs from rolling around non stop that my hatch rate went up.

:) Just a thought we don't wan't all our peeps dizzy.
