Should you clip wings of chickens that you may show?

No. Don't cut a birds wing feathers if you plan to show soon. They don't grow them back unless the cut feathers are pulled out, or they molt.

Okay. Thanks for that information. All of the birds are somewhat flighty at this time, however, I do want to enter at least one or two in a show in the fall in the Tennessee Valley Poultry Club show. I realize what wing feathers to cut and not to cut, but I did not know that they would not grow back unless you pull them. Seems that would be a little painful? Perhaps.
