Angelique Jackson, pleased to meet you.
Im a newbie to the forum and to "backyard" chickens. I adopted a Rooster, The Dude, from a friend who lives in the city, and couldn't stop myself from there. I brought home 6 chicks and all the accoutrement as well. I have plenty of space and so here I am converting one of my outbuildings to a coop and spacious and safe run. My "backyard is 14 acres, which I share with 2 horses, 2 geriatric house dogs, and 2 indoor cats. I've spent hours watching videos, and perusing websites. Im happy to be among people who understand.
