Show Cages Mclean County IL

I signed up to show 5 chickens and 1 duck at my 4-H fair (the largest 4-H fair in the Nation) and i was wondering if anyone in or around McLean County IL has any show cages the i can Buy/ Borrow/ Rent?

some of our call ducks travel to the shows in fruit boxes. Just cut a big hole in the lid and replace with wire. Put a cardboard divider in the middle and you can put 2 ducks in the box. You can also use cat kennels/dog kennels (the plastic ones). Some people use the plastic tubs from Walmart.....just cut a hole in them and replace with wire.

we have to provide our own cages for showing while they stay there and i dont think that dog cages work. (Its my first year

)

Oh yea i forgot to mention that the fair dates are July 26- August 2 so if i can rent or borrow them then thats when i need them

Does anyone show in other counties that i can pick them up so i can use them for my show?

Wow...a bring your own cage show????

How about making your own cages?

You could get a roll of wire, wire cutters, crimpers and the little things that go in the crimpers and make your own.

I think we have to have metal cages and thats all i have seen before but i dont know good idea

Anyone close to the Chicago/ Elgin area have any my grandparents live up there?
