Show chicken help

My rooster has been pecking at her face ( pecking order ) and I was wonder what I could put on her face so it won't scar. They are both show chickens.

I know for human skin an application of tissue oil, like Bio Oil can help prevent scarring and treat existing scars, but I can't tell you if it will work the same for chickens. But that may be an option for you.

if you have a show coming up could you put them in separate cages? Maybe in the interim he'd forget he pecks her. I've heard of people doing that to keep them in good condition with no missing or pecked out feathers.

Welcome to BYC. I agree with dd - if you plan on showing her, separate pens are a mut.
